  Monologue

I resisted temptation until yesterday, but I couldn´t held to buy my very own fidget spinner. I mean, it is entertaining, but quite expensive. Anyways, the Tour de France started recently, and what are your predictions? I invite you to leave your comments down below. Anyway, let´s jump straight to the interview, ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, the one and only Poland Simon de Monfort!

  Interview

JHDZ: To start it off, with an easy question ;), how are you?
SIMON: Not too bad, and You?
JHDZ: I´m doing well thanks! Do you consider yourself an active cyclist?
SIMON: Generally, I do. Although last season was ruined and due to various real-life commitments, I didn’t cycle at all I still hope to be back on the saddle soon. I used to take part in amateur cycling races and even though I was usually in the grupetto rather than in the breakaway, I really enjoyed it and hope to come back to racing in the near future.
JHDZ: How did you join OCM and what made you stay?
SIMON: I always liked manager-type of games and usually played F1 managers, but one day I thought I would check if there is any cycling manager out there - and I found OCM. What made a big impression on me was that people created stories about fictional races and fictional riders - all those newspaper - like race reports, rider’s bios etc. I wanted to become a part of it and wanted to have my own riders and create stories about them.
JHDZ: Why did you choose AD as your team name?
SIMON: This is the nick I am using since I got married. It is a mix of my wives’ name and my name - you can easily figure it out.
JHDZ: How would you describe yourself?
SIMON: Family man, shy, calm, tolerant,

kind to others. I also used to be indecisive, but now I am not sure...
JHDZ: Haha! Why do you like cycling?
SIMON: I like sport and travelling and cycling ticks both boxes. I can work on my fitness and in the same time see some new places - I think this is great.
JHDZ: What is your favorite cycling area (climbing, sprinting, etc.?
SIMON: In real life, it is probably flat road riding, as I am very bad at everything else :-) In OCM it is down hilling of course while as it comes to watching cycling in TV I like climbing stages most, because they are entertaining from both sport and visual perspective - all those mountain pass views from the helicopter are amazing!
JHDZ: Sure, they are! What would be your IRL cycling dream team (retired riders are available)?
SIMON: never thought about it earlier, but let’s see. I would like to have Thor Hushovd and Paolo Bettini on my team for sure. That would ensure me some good results in sprint stages and classics. Let’s add Michal Kwiatkowski as a great all-rounder and Rafal Majka for the mountains to have some polish riders as well. And to fill in to 6 riders lets have Jens Voigt to ride in breakaways and Thomas Voeckler to make some funny faces to the camera. Yeah, that would be a nice line-up.
JHDZ: Who is your favorite OCM manager and rider?
SIMON: I like the teams who follow some additional rules apart from the game rules - so all the national teams or regional teams, youth development teams etc. There once was a team consisting of riders with first name Adrian (Scorpions Poprad I think?). That was a great team!!! As it comes to riders my favorite ones are those which I have trained myself - so all my team :-)
JHDZ: To end this, what are your predictions for this Tour de France?
SIMON: Froome's ambition is to win TdF as many times as possible and he prepares for this race all year but I always like to bet on the underdogs, so how about Rafal Majka? :-)

  Finish

the Lyric

Rules are simple, I´ll give you a bit of a lyric, and you must give the name of the song and complete the verse (just one phrase is enough), Now you can get two points per song, one for the lyric and one for the name, here we go!
JHDZ: Ok, Number one: “I'm burning through the sky yeah
  Two hundred degrees
That's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit”
SIMON: I'm travelling at the speed of liiiight... Queen of course, Don’t stop me now.
JHDZ: Both correct! 2 points. Next: “I close my eyes, only for a moment
  And the moment's gone
All my dreams pass before my eyes, a curiosity”
SIMON: That’s my music... I love this song. I can even play it on a guitar :-) Dust in the wind, Kansas.
JHDZ: Correct! Another two points “She's got a smile that it seems to me
  Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky”
SIMON: Don’t know to be honest...
JHDZ: Sweet Child O´Mine by Guns N´Roses! Next one: “I love you, I love you, I love you
That's all I want to say
  Until I find a way”
SIMON: Not sure about this one, but I think the Beatles had a song with triple I love you... Michelle, my belle?
JHDZ: The name song is Michelle by the Beatles, so we´ll count the two points! Next and last: “Fly me to the moon and
Let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like
  On Jupiter and mars”
SIMON: In other words, please be true! Mr. Frank Sinatra naturally, Fly me to the moon. There you go. Hope you find this entertaining enough to publish the interview :-)
JHDZ: Correct again! 8/10 that´s a great score. And of course, this was great, a huge applause for Simon de Monfort everyone!
SIMON: Thanks, and good luck with the show and future guests!
