Dude, where is my money? by Finz, at 14/3-17 - 23:36 GMT
Written by Finz of NightmareChaos
Yes, you have seen it correctly. Your money was not there, there was a culprit around that kept stealing your hard earned money. And the culprit was you all along when it finally came out. Your staff needed money and they just took it from you. Not | | because they are thiefs but because you promised it long, long time ago. Most likely in a intoxicated moment that you do not remember any more.
We have received 7.000 back from our trainers but in the mean time we will need to pay them a weekly amount of money for their services. And that
| | amount of money will be $175 dollars a week. That means 700 dollars per 4 weeks, per trainer. That is a decent amount of money.
For now we will save money for our trainers and see what the new changes will bring us, maybe we get more trainingpoints for our riders. That would be great, or more prizemoney.

Lets put it this way Finz. The fact that we are required to pay a fee for trainers (when there is NO fee to have mechanics, a PR person, bus driver(s), doctors, probably a lawyer if that were possible and a freaking Indian Chief is plain old STUPID. To further this rant (that you started my friend ;p) money is hard enough to come by in the first place and it seems like managers need to sell off their entire team just to be able to do anything in this game is also a very STUPID development decision as well. Nick, if you are around to read this can you answer this one question. WHY? End of rant and thank you Finz for allowing me to rant on like some bloomin' idiot that won't be paid any attention to any way... lol |
@Super Velo, and what's worse, all these off days of my trainers! ;) |
Don't get me started on off days Broken because I just might blow a gasket on that one! And you don't want that to happen do you? lol |
I just fired one trainer - I believe it was him who took all the money. The other two were honest. So now I hope I wont see cash dissapearing any more :-) |
Trainers cost 175 for now a very long time. When you hired them, you should have thought it would cost that budget. That's why I never hired trainers. |
If they don't work for you, don't hire them. Pretty simple, and a lot less likely to cause you to pop while you're throwing your toys out of the pram!! :-) |
10 seasons = 900 days = 128.57 weeks
128 * 175 $ = 22400 $ |
Honestly, for 175 per week they are pretty much useless, however they do look nice sitting there on the team page. Another worthless game update, thats all. Making teams pay a fee for that is stupid. Unfortunately there will never be the possibility of a change to a TOTAL no fee system. If you don't pay a weekly fee for doctors, etc. then there should be NO fee for ANY of them. Start charging a fee for the others then. |
Super Velo: you forgot that for a doc or mechanic you pay upfront 25k. For trainer you dont pay upfront. So there is fee for docs and mechanics as well, but paid in a different form. |
Trainers need to provide more benefit. |
Well, I need to agree here, this whole thing is another feature that is not really improving the game as it does not add any new management options. The benefit is very small and I have tried the option to not max my riders to gain more points on the actual important stats. Did not really work. I have a super trainer on some stat and the riders gain one point on most of the other stats too. So why bother?
Yes, I
am voluntarily playing this game and no one is forcing me to support it each season. And no, I do not believe it will ever change.
However, it would be nice if anything else than DP slaving would make sense. (DP slaving is actually more fun than most of the rest of the game)
Trainers that work.
Team Spirit that is affected not by useless free roles and bus drivers but by home trained riders, a decent team composition of captains and helpers and maybe dedicated helpers. No, I make myself stop now.
