Glenn Nyholm was the youngest son of a mid-class family of Copenhagen. His passion for cycling started after watching the Danish legend Lean Ahnfeldt-Mollerup conquering the roads of OCM. So young Glenn decided to take a step forward and moved to Cycling team FPS for a trial period as stagiaire. The manager seemed a great potential and hired the new promise, considering to find a new star. Sadly Bujumbura GrandPrix #14 marked a starting point in his career. Glenn had a fall and major injury in left knee; and recovering process was hard. At the end, his potential was slightly decreased after the accident, but he completed the whole season (Season 30).

However, Glenn was a very good lead out for the upcoming teams looking for his services. Sacrifice, cooperation, and respect was his say, and highly rewarded by the team managers; having some opportunities for himself every time when calendar and objectives didn’t cross.
After considering retiring when season 43 was over, he got an offer from US Postal to extend his adventure in OCM… and having some chances for him from time to time. A second place at Chomutov - Teplice #39 with 39 years old was his best performance, always in favor of the team and leader. Looking to expend more time with his family, he made an attempt to retire at season 49, but all staff convinced him to keep the journey for another season; and complete 20 seasons at OCM; which he accepted. 6 results during all his career of 20 seasons sounds like disappointment for a promise in his beginning, but Glenn Nyholm was more than that, he was the spirit of friendship, resistance and compromise that describes Cycling, a true knight…
