Kuba Augustyniak comes from Cracow and has always been a cycling maniac. Not only did he enjoy riding bikes, but also he spent hours on upgreading them or even building from scratch. He attended technical schools and every summer took practices in the cycling shops where he oiled up the chains of children bikes for hours and everyday awaited for a real customer with a racer to turn up.
When one of the team mechanics was on a sick leave, he recommended Kuba as a guy to replace him for that short period. Team managers saw how passionate this young fellow was about the whole thing and offered him a part-time job.
