Dragi Stavrevski was one of the 3 riders in Macedonia's 'silver generation', together with Gjorgi Beqiri and Nedzmedin Savevski.
Dragi joined Alpinisti na Ohrid from the semi-professional circuit, like his friend Gjorgi had done at Velosipedska. After his own team made a switch to sprinting he joined Beqiri’s climbers at Velosipedska in season 55. Dragi rode exactly 100 official races for Velosipedska, and was only the 5th rider to do so at the time. Stavrevski helped his Velosipedska teammates win 12 times, including Riste Nikolovski’s GC victory at Monte Rosa Tour in season 56. Another memorable win for the road captain was when climber Gjorgji Najdoski took cobble race Oudenaarde Kasseienkoers with Dragi’s support in season 36. Dragi also recorded 15 appearances for the Macedonia national team.
