The start and finish are the same and when the Peloton leaves Yarmouth’s Main Street for a varied and technical route, they will need to ride for 121 km before returning to the town. Famous for its lobster fishing, the Yarmouth GP is part of the Yarmouth Clam Festival, which welcomes thousands of tourists for each season. This means that the riders will be cheered along the route throughout not only the county of Yarmouth, but also when the Peloton visits other counties.
The profile itself calls for a winner having comprehensive skills in all areas and strong sprinting abilities might become decisive, if a break away does not hold off the team mates set in front of the Peloton to catch up.
