The sunny skies and many amazing sights of nature along the way does not make this ITT any easier though. The location near a large ocean often means strong winds, and the temperature can get very high from time to time. Most of the roads are major trucking routes, and as such are very bumpy as this provides extra grip to the trucks, but can make it very uncomfortable for a ride. The quality of the road surface can make even a short ITT race feel a lot longer
