As the course moves northwest away from Senaki, hilly parcours tempts some teams to establish a breakaway.
After passing Khobi village, the bunch follows tight turns of Khobi River southwest until they reach the feed zone. It is located on the outskirts of port town Poti, which according to local legends once greeted Jason and Argonauts on their search for elusive Golden Fleece.
Final eastward approach into Senaki is fast, using flat Tbilisi-Senaki highway with little traffic furniture. The sprint finishes in the town square. There the mayor will award the winner’s medal on the steps of the historic Senaki State Theatre.

Description
The terrain in Senaki - Senaki hardly includes any climbs and has only easy downhills. The terrain hardly includes any hills and has only a few flat roads. The stage ends on a small and easy climb. The finishing climb never gets steep. The route doesn't demand much technique from the riders.
