The race starts at the Pascual Guerrero Olympic stadium where fans can cheer for their favorite riders before they head up to the iconic Cristo Rey statue which looks over the city of Santiago de Cali. After this and with the city behind them the rider climb up through the vast Farallones mountain range through the town of Pance and finally reaching the 2800mts Parrot Peak.
