Riders will navigate a mix of long, grinding ascents, punchy steep ramps, and steep descents, making it a race that rewards both skills.
The race begins in downtown Salt Lake City, taking riders through a neutral start before heading into the foothills.
The first major challenge comes at Big Cottonwood Canyon, a 25 km climb averaging 5%, with some sections spiking to 8%.
The high-altitude climb tests the lungs and legs as the road climbs steadily towards Brighton Resort.
A swift and technical descent brings the peloton to the Emigration Canyon, a shorter but steeper ascent with gradients reaching 10% in spots.
The queen stage of the race comes with the ascent of Guardsman Pass, a punishing climb renowned for its unrelenting gradients, peaking at over 12%. Topping out above 2900 meters, the thin air and breathtaking views provide a dramatic setting for decisive attacks.
The race concludes with a thrilling descent back towards the city, where the riders face a flat finish in Liberty Park.

The terrain in Salt Lake City GP includes many hard climbs and has hard downhills. The terrain has no hills and has no flat distances. The finishing of the stage is a very steep tough climb giving many possibilities for the best climbers in the peleton. The route isn't technical at all.
