The biggest obstacle of this race is not the hills at Omme Bakker where the riders will turn back towards Ringkøbing. It is mental challenge of keeping the pace high on the wide roads where the riders can see mile after mile of straight road ahead.
With no sharp turns, no narrow roads, no fast downhills and no hills to speak of the winner of the race will therefore most likely be an oldschool tt'er with thighs as wide as timber who can keep the pace high throughout the race.
