At one point during the race there is the famous local hill known as Nightingale that has the gradient of the toughest mountains, luckily all the hills found in the race are small in length meaning that the race is more accessible to sprinters. This race was founded after sections of this race were used in the London 2012 road race and time trial, such a popular route this is that you can't go out without seeing a single cyclist training on the race course.
