Ochjor - Perm

Stage two is the most important stage of this tour. The King stage will lead the riders from Ochjor to the city of Perm. The riders have 187 kilometers to ride from rural Russia to cosmopolitan Russia. The route goes to the south where we will cross the river Kama and then meet some mountains of importance. South of Perm there is an old mountain ridge that will test the riders and select only the good ones as potential stage winners. These mountains will flow into the hills on which Perm is built as we enter the town.

The finish at Komsomolsky Prospekt will be host to thousands of Perm citizens who have marked their calendars for this event. There is even a Cossack honor guard to present the winner of the day with his prize, though perhaps he will treasure his time gap nearly as much.
