The terrain in Mito - Tokyo hardly includes any climbs and has only easy downhills. The terrain includes a few hills and has many very long and flat distances. The flat ending of the stage makes the finishing an extremely technical sprint demanding everything from the sprinters. The route demands a bit of technique from the riders.
