Mathikoloni is located on the Greece part of Cyprus 10 kilometer above Limassol. Mathikoloni is a small village that is enclosed between the Troodos forest and the Mediterranean Sea.

The time trial route leads the riders to the north into the Troodos forest. The Troodos forest separates Limassol with the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia. Although the riders won’t pass the highest peak of the Troodos forest which is the 1,952 meter high Mount Olympus the route contains a few tough climbs. The downhill’s are not very technical but the many leaves and branches on the road makes it that the riders need to keep their focus.
When the riders return out of the Troodos forest they will head towards Mathikoloni. The route to Mathikoloni runs in a descending line towards the finish.
