Jibou is a town located in Salaj County in Transylvania, Romania. The town has a population of 10 000 people and the town has a good agriculture and a long history. The race Jibou - Jibou will start outside of the Wesselényi Castle and will head out on the flat roads. The rote is extremly flat and has no climbs or hills and just easy downhills. The peloton will pass many farming fields and forests and they will ride beside the Somes River. Also they will pass the Béldy Castle and the high-tech St. George Orthodox Church. And after 74 kilometers we can see wich rider who managed the flat, technical route best. The finish will be an exciting sprint where just the strongest sprinters will have any chance. After the race we will watch the podium and see who won the ?tefan Birtalan Trophy, named after the romanian handball player who has won 2 gold medals in the world championships and 3 medals in the olympics as a player and has as a coach trained Steaua Bucharest and the national teams of both Romania and Qatar.
