In the first part of the race the peloton will ride across the 35km long Hel Peninsula, which is a unique experience, as this sandbar is in some places only 100m wide and water can be easily seen at both sides of the road. Usually the wind blows strongly in this region, so the wind breakers will have plenty of work to keep their sprinters in the main group.
Once the Peninsula ends, the race continues through Puck, Gdynia and Sopot and heads up to twisty streets of Gdansk. The finish line is located in the Old Town next to the Fountain of Neptune - ancient God of freshwater and hurricanes. The winner will surely need the spead of a tornado, as the mass sprint finish is expected.
