The race will start on the TT Circuit in Assen. After some straight flat roads, the first cobbles will appear after 25 kilometer on the 'Steenhopenweg'. It's only after 60 kilometers of racing though, that the next cobbled road appear. From then on, the flinten follow one after each other, making a total of 17 kilometers of cobbles in the last fifty kilometers! The last section, the Boslaan, which is 3.5 kilometers long, is situated only 5 kilometers before the finish in Borger, a nice, small village in the middle of Drenthe. Probably only the strongest cobble specialists will be able to fight for the win here.
