Truro, Capital of Cornwall, is both the start and finish point to this contrasting race. The first 30km are a fairly straight forward ride down the spine of the county along the A:30, at Hayle the route takes a more scenic but perilous route passing "hells mouth" , the bendy and hilley coastal return eventually leads back to Truro, for a mass Sprint finish.
