The race starts by the sleepy harbour in Colonia and takes the peloton on a 78Km ride, First stop out of colina is the tired village of Semillero, where the peloton will swing left towards La Estanzuela and then left again back toward Colonia, the route is flat with only a few slight hills, nothing that should trouble the peloton. The finish should be a group sprint back into the heart of the City, however 500m before the finish line is a hard 90 degree left turn which could cause an upset if taken to fast.
