The Velosipedska board and me, general manager KrMees are delighted to present the first ever Velosipedska press statement. Since the founding of the team approximately one month ago, we have been building the foundations of a strong Macedonian cycling team. We will aim to give our fans an update every couple of weeks, divided into 3 segments; Team News (Staff, Economy, Philosophy), Rider News (Injuries, Transfers, Milestones) and Race News(Calendar and Results).
---TEAM NEWS---
Velosipedska will remain a Macedonian team, all riders will be Macedonian .It is possible that we will allow up to 3 dispensation riders from other nations in the future. If we decide to allow foreigners into our squad, we will aim to sign local riders from the Balkan area. So, what are the goals for this team? For now, we have to be patient and build our squad. Season 52 will be one for discovery and training.
As for the economy of our team, here is a short summary of our income and expenses these first few weeks.

Currently we are focusing on training Riste Nikolovski. He has mastered most of his potential, but perhaps he can learn a bit more in the next few weeks. This is his current state:

To aid Nikolovski we will mainly rely on veterans Gjorgi Beqiri and Cedomir Ivanov, who joined us after being released from Lundar_Cycling_Team. After the training of Riste we will try to find new Macedonian talent, maybe there are other youngsters out there who could bolster our ranks!
---RACE NEWS---
During the first weeks of our team's history we have had some decent results. We had multiple top 10 places in single races in Pskoff - Pskoff, Hills of Cabudare and Beg Minsk CBGP. Division 11 was clearly a bit too easy for us, but we still got some decent results in divisions 9 and 8. Veteran Gjorgi Beqiri brought us our first ever victory in Luesia, Spain.
This week we will ride our first ever tour - the Tour of the Sanreizan, but due to low fitness we are not expecting any fireworks yet. We will of course bring you an update after it finishes.
