Welcome to Universal Soups preview and team roster announcement for season 55. One of our plans is to write more press releases and therefor we have split up the review of last season and the preview of season 55.
Policy Changes
- The team will stay Vietnamese only. Last season, our manager BrokenChain tried to make a quick buck by signing a Dutch talent in the hope he was skilled enough to be sold for profit after a monthly summer camp. Unfortunately this was a bust and this behavior is from now on banned from this team in the official statutes.
- Joining Universal Soup is a career. We ask commitment from everyone in our team. Our Bus Drivers, Mechanics and Doctors. Once they are recruited, they are to stay for the rest of their working careers. Now the management has found it only fair that we ask the same commitment from our riders. In the past some riders were dropped to expand the team. However the CL/HL squad is now strong enough to compete at a decent level and the fact we only have 1 pure jobber left has made us to form this decision.
Our roster for the upcoming season. Since we are a 1 nation team from a small nation, we will always take up opportunities to expand our team when possible and deemed smart. Last season we raced a big part of the season with a (CL)HL team lead by and a CL(DH) team led by . This season we will see a more combined team, where the rest over can enjoy themselves the rest of the races ( or possibly try to win some ) at their own leisure.

Trainees
Currently the team has two trainees. If the team has enough monetary power when another possible apprentice is found we won't shy back and will try to acquire that rider.
Hoan Nguyên Dat Started his training at a later age and is already used as a domestique, but hasn't maxed overall yet. He has small ability in the Hills, but if he is able to maximize his Flat Road abiltiy he will be a great asset and possibly a Tour captain himself. His goal is to train all his skills to his maximum ability this season.

Wang Dúc Binh arrived today, day 5 of season 55 at the gates of the Universal Soup academy. Unfortunately our youth scouts hadn't been able to produce any talent at the end of last season, nor were able to find Wang Dúc Binh in previous seasons. Now that he just turned 23 he came into the sights of our scouting team. Being a pure sprinter, who has the ability to go over some hills too he can possibly become a great addition and our first asset into expanding into hill sprinting, a long desired wish of our manager. Despite not being the first hills printer to be trained by Universal Soup we have great hopes Wang Dúc Binh does become successful. This also shows Universal Soup's ambition to join in the race for Vietnamese sprint talents that recently started in the world of OCM.

Thanks guys, because he doesn't fit my team too well I was thinking of training him cheap so up to 59 in SP and then TQ.
Should I do 59 FR first too, then 69 in each stat and then finish SP? To keep it cheap..
