Due to new trade bans and further uncertainty about trade relationships we see no other option than to let Geovanni Iaconzzo go. The ugly, bald casanova will move back to Italy to one of our partners: Schiavi di Don. The fee for the extraction costs is set at 332.233 Zucchinis.
Geovanni came to us as a freeloader. It didn't coast us much more than ur average water carrier, bus driver or drugs runner. He showed great promise and could move out of these type of jobs soon. Unfortunately that was exactly were his ambitions are.
He wanted to get involved with our sponsor Dopium and became the Iran-Italian liaison for them. This ment we sometimes could not make use of his services as he was free loading goods somewhere on European mainland. It frustated us, particularly when he used his TF twice to unload goods instead of booking results for us.
Abilities not unnoticed
He became somewhat of an unreliable factor in that sense, the reason why relations between us had chilled in the recent season. Though he served a purpose for our sponsor meanwhile. Now with new trade regulations and companies cutting ties with Iran again there was no work for him left. Luckily we heard that our partner Schiavi di Don was impressed by his abilities. He appeared to be on the lookout for a while for native Italians who could do specific types of jobs well.
Also Manisaspor and Team Chili were interested, but they could not get the paperwork in order quickly enough. Schiavi di Don however had ways to clear that and making the deal didn't take much of a hassle.
We did not expect much of Geovanni in the last few weeks at our team. Firstly he suprised us with a podium during stage 1 of Cymru Taith. That would be followed by a 4th in GC and winning the YC there. If that wasn't enough he excelled in the TT at Perm Tour securing him a podium spot in the GC and winning a second jersey for the YC. Afterwards Geovanni commented: 'I was given the opportunity to shine in fields where my heart lies but never did anything back in return. This was my way of saying thanks to you" Well thank you Geo, we wish you a 'viaggio sicuro' back home. Now all we have to do is to find a way to make not so hideous curtains from those jerseys.
Geo failed a couple of our tests, we are not at liberty to expand on that statement. Good luck Don, he is your kind be of rider ;)
Our team policy is to never publicly state anything we ever use.
are you on Alpecin?
Sources say a bald rider was needed to take away the attention from the Don's hair loss. Of course these are false rumors.
