It was Reginald Meier that conquered Cima di Blockhaus TT, but the time tria'sl real winner was Team Formand United.
Our sport staff cannot remember a race that has been dominated so much by one team ever! With four riders ending in the Top 9, Ebbe Spas' so called Team Galacticos of Climbing is now hammered back in Division 1 again.
The best rider of the team was Andre Dombrowski (bronze), ending only a few seconds behind the winner. The versatile climber did some hardcore wind tunnel training to be prepped for the race:
- I really did some TT relevant stuff in that tunnel and got some health prep done by Dr. Ferrari and Jacob Fuglsang. It was awesome to go and conquer the Blockhaus TT climb today and I apprreciate the team sponsors funding more TT training for us than usual.
- I also saw that my Danish pal Carstensen ended as no. 7 today, and he didn't even train for this race. What a glorious day, Dombrowski said to our newspaper after the race.
- It was really nice today, the lads showed some real effort, Team Manager Ebbe Spas adds:
- I was impressed by everyone having a go at this tough climb, and seeing our new Team Galacticos of Climbing delivering today was world epic!!!!
