It has been quite a journey since 24-year old Burton Robins joined Team Formand United's talent factory from Gradient Levellers.
Burton comes from Canada and had a job as a struggling lumberjack before going to Europe to fulfill his dream becoming a cycling pro.
Training camps in the Peru mountains, wind tunnels, stagiaire races, water carrier jobs and a very long preparation with Dr. Ferrari. But now he seems stronger than ever, ending up as no. 1 in his first ever Captain race!
- This result really makes my dream come true. I am so happy that Ebbe Spas saw my potential and brought me to the sub top level in Europe. He invested in the training and DynEPO bars that did a big difference. .
- I look forward at delivering another top result at my next Cap race at Clásica de los Pirineos. If I win, everyone in the squad will get free paella, ha ha!
- With a guy like tough Burton, we won't stay in Div. II for so long. I am proud of my rider today and the team that really used my tactic "pull the peloton iron hard on the steepest mountain climb" today, Team Manager Ebbe Spas said.

Yes, your English guys will have to step up then. Rumors are telling that the lumberjack will go for the May treble also doing Epuyén Climbs and Sagarmatha.
