For legendary Team Manager Ebbe Spas, experienced old school team gaffer, the career has almost been an endless walk in the desert. Until today.
After a nice break away, Eugenio "The Pita" ended as number three in Drakensberg Challenge, securing Team Formand United a price as the best Danish team!
- We've had a short spell on the first spot a few days ago, but now again we hammer up the ranks, and my team is now a secure no. 1 for some time. It has really been a goal, because we've never achieved it before. Not even when we were in Division 1. Our Santa Rally with 8 results in 8 races was really an effort.
- The competition has hardened, and a lot of Danish team suffers from that. We also do, but The Pita really looked like a star today, swallowing DynEPO müsli youghurt in the steep mountains. . Congrats to the team that really deserved some high fives after a difficult season with two captain long term injuries that killed our Division 1 placements.
- We are finally BACK!!! Ebbe Spas yelled to the press at the end of the media conference.
