It has indeed been some hot days at the races for our cult team Team Formand United from Denmark (without Danish riders). Ebbe Spas's dream about making The Galacticos of cycling was laughed at and criticised in the press, but now we finally have some feelings that it might work. Maybe a small flower looks like a fertile tree now.
The painful relegation after Oddvar Helgesen was sold almost seemed like a part of the plan. Now it even looks like a master plan after the Division II results have been epic, and the team again is part of the best pro league in bikes.
But let's quit the talking and look at statistics. .
Ebbe Spas has a neat, legendary ability making undervalued riders kings. Boris "The Bear" Urbanec was oftentimes living in Oddvar's shadows, but now he fetched the first Tour Gold Trophy ever for the team! And what about the now sold thin ultra climber Alex Adri - went no. 2 only being an SD in his last race and had an epic season some years ago.
And have a close look at the last five races.. Eight results! Quite a killing spree so to say.
The Formand team strikes back this time - better prepare!
