It was indeed a day to remember at the legendary race of Morne Seychellois Trophy.
Early on the stage, five optimistic riders attacked on the first climbs of Morne Seychellois Trophy, but it was not be a success. The aggressive pace set by the ride's controlling team Team Formand United was higher than the Danish Rundetårn and smashed the pack .
Only the winner Vitor Oliveira and Ebbe Spas's relegated boys really showed their faces that day. Especially SD
Kelvin Hartslief looked strong with a DynEPO müsli bar in his mouth and seemed to have a good day.
Kelvin Hartslief was faster in the sprint than Qasim Khattak, but Vítor Oliveira got over the line a tiny pussy (cat) hair before underestimated South African hill hero Hartslief.
Team Formand's Captain for the race, the new Italian guy Pio, came in as number four, lacking a bit of hill skill, but very fit and paced by his hardworking team mates.
- Indeed we did have a nice day today and penetrated in to Division I again ! Ebbe Spas yelled to the TV cameras smoking a big cigar.
