The tough mountain bonanza of Brescia Climbs were meant to be one last triumph for Team Formand United's super star. But hell no .... Oddvar Helgesen ended out with a bit of a nightmare!
"Oddie" finished 16th after being one of the biggest favorites after an awfully rainy off day. He cried at the end, totally emptied for energy and missing the good day at his favorite team.
- The is my last race for my first team, and I really cannot say anything. Cannot even get a hard-on. . I just miss the team already and Ebbe Spas and Chris Boardman from the board. And Falco's good humor. But today wasn't my day. Ended up in the group, and Alex Adri had a huge mechanical issue in the group, when he wanted to help me stay in.
- I really like this team, but Ebbe has let me go because of economical reasons. I hope that they can stay in Division I with out my help and good ambitions, Oddie says.
- Oddie has had a really nice carrier with us and is the proof that our Talent Academy is epic. I pray that he can continue the good work for more years, Ebbe Spas, Team Manager, says to the Moon Sports Newspaper.
