The experts of the OCM Forum has spoken! Crazy "Odd" Oddvar from Team Formand United is the 5th strongest climber in the world according to experts in climbing stats.
Chris Boardman from the club board speaks to us:
- Finally our 100-year talent from the Academy gets his proud and fame. He is not only among the 40 best riders in professional cycling with his OCM points, but also the 5th best climber in stats. Impressive!
And Team Manager Ebbe Spas brags as usual to our reporter:
- It is Oddvar's best season so far, and he is not even 30 yet.. He has had a couple of podiums and had a hot, nice day at Albacete-Madrid today! Despite a severe mechnical issue he got no. 3. And then I forgot to mention his three top 10s in Tours this season. Progress is nice!
Our Danish sport expert Brian Island follows Team Formand United closely every day. He comments Oddies season so far:
- Oddvar is truly a Talent in the game and here to stay. His best season is now, but I am still a little critical. Time trails aren't his game, he improved in Tours this year though.. Maybe more's to come next season, but being such a superb climber should make him a Top 30 dude in my opinion. I am just sad that Team Formand isn't in Div. I yet. The surely have the team for it!
