Tour of Luzon was not on the top priority list of Team Formand United, but it was indeed the team from the Danish outskirts that dominated the race.
The strong veteran hiller Landry Stubbs was trying to get away in a break away several times and succeeded after 20 km. with Pieter Van Kelf (Sigue Sigue Sputnik) and Benedict Moutray (Equipo Easy On). The strong group cooperated perfectly, and Ebbe Spas's team managed to keep the peloton slow pacing to help Stubbs on the way.
Landry Stubbs won the sprint, after the Flamme Rouge ended, and the peloton got in 8 minutes later. What a victory, and how happy he was!

But it was indeed a team effort with Captain Boris "Bear" Urbanec getting in as no. 4 in the peloton, although he is no sprinter and hates sprints. . Team Formand was high on DynEPO bars and totally strong today.
- I proved today that I am no flop. As the most expensive rider on this team roster ever, I have had so much pressure building in the system, but today everything was fantastic. Even the weather, and my first victory for the team was worth waiting for!, Stubbs says to the press in the mixed zone.
