Although podiums have lacked a bit, Oddvar Helgesen, Team Formand United's mountain superstar, is having his best season so far. A placement as No. 61 in the World Tour ranks and with potential to more is the fact after a mean victory in Climbs of Pinchor.
Team Formand United and Drollevangers totally controlled the race throughout, and potential breakaways were shot down fast. Onno from Drollevangers thought we would succeed, but Oddvar used his genetic Norwegian climb legs to slam a hole and ride in as a safe No. 1.
- I was almost suprised today that it was so easy, but my team really did a good job. The wind was there in the heights, but it wasn't bad. I was able to cock contral myself and relax on the climbs!, "Odd" Oddvar said to the press.
It was Oddvar Helgesen's second podium so far this season, and he has until now two top 10s in Tours this year (Portugal Volta ao Porto, The Two Pass Tour). Potential is huge!
- Oddvar is no newbie anymore, and I really hope that he will progress the rest of the season. Potential is huge, and he is having his best World rank right now I think.. Just imagine how he would perform if I have a bigger budget or more young riders, Ebbe Spas, Team Manager, says to The Moon Sports Newspaper.
