What a victory for "Odd" Oddvar Helgesen it was.. His Top Form teammate Robert Tembo really had tempo in his legs and managed to deliver Helgesen at the sprint perfectly just a few meters behind. Result was both gold and silver for Team Formand United at the legendart race Kanchanaburi - Bangkok.
The race was already one of the favorites of the 24-year old versatile Norwegian climber, and this time it was a huge win indeed. But he had to wait for it coming.
- Usually this race is one of my faovrites that really suits my skills. And I just love the ladyboys and lovers in this crazy city of Bangkok!, he told the press honestly.
- I've never doubted that Oddvar has the talent, but this season has been tough learning for him without too many results, Team Manager Ebbe Spas said.
- But now he succeeded, and his young Super Domestique Tembo really delivered too. That was just superb and worth waiting for. It has to be celebrated!
Ebbe Spas and the crew then went for a celebration in Bangkok with the riders. A party that did not disappoint. "Odd" Oddvar with his long ding dong really got a golden shower after the medal race and a night out a whore house or two.
- I'm very happy for my win today. It means a lot to me. But now I need a HIV check, said Oddvar Helgesen the next hang over day.
