Injured Stallion Gets In Top 5 !

Written by Team Formand United at 13:16 6/5-2022

After the Uphill Firenze race today, Team Formand United's so called Italian Stallion Lauro Falco didn't know if he should cry or say hooray .. The ultra climber finished as number four, although he got a nasty injury on the way. He wasn't a favorite and was a little surprised:
  - I am so happy about the result and the sprint. Never heard of an injured rider that got in top 5 without the race route suited him totally. But... I really get crazy also because I hurt my behind in a fall. Can't even sit on the bike, so I have to skip The Tourmalet race that was my focus point and best race!
Lauro Falco received first aid during the race and was able to finish despite his injury.
  - The third place were terminated by a group of 4 who sprinted a long. Lauro got second in the mountain sprint and we had to give him painkillers and vitamin injections afterwards, Team Manager Ebbe Spas adds.
  - Happy with the result that the team and Lauro delivered, but very unlucky with injuries this season too.
