In his biggest win yet, Team Formand United's 28 year old Cap Fresnel Kikunda triumphed in the tough Div. 3 race Tarbela Dam Dash.
The superstar of Congo is know for his spectacular ability to win tough, dusty one day rides, and this time it was really to be. Having his maybe best form ever proved enough to win against a very strong pack of favorites.
- Some viewers were maybe a little surprised because one team had an even more evil squad than us, but Fresnel's super leg this season got yet another win. The team spirit really bashed everyone today and his sprinting skills too, Ebbe Spas, Team Manager, said and laughed.
- I will still be the Black Star, but I owe everything to the team that really performed high-end, Fresnel said to the press.
- Per Kvam looked strong, but had no chance to follow me and another rider, Kikunda boosted ahead. A little more than halfway in the season, I can still get result for the team. A superb Prep period has it been before this race, and I will visit Dr. Ferrari Skoda later this season for sure.
