29 year old ultraclimber Agne Garpefält delivered quite a surprise in the Division 2 race Mount Taranaki Cup. He only ran as a super domestique for Team Formand United, but finished 4th after the group of strong favorites.
It was his best result for several years, and he was way happy after the experience.
"I really enjoyed the finishing climb, and I am graful for the run today. Although captain Teunis had been drinking too much fish oil and had an evil off day, everything worked out at last."
Agne Garpefält had really good, sexy legs according to Women's Daily reporter. He was originally riding as a young captain on the team, but got fewer chances and fewer results, when the team moved into 2. and 3. division. As an ultraclimber his chances are sometimes less in Div. 2, Team Manager Ebbe Spas says:
"This new division for us really demands strength, longevity and super skills. Agne wasn't Cap, but showed off today brilliantly. Sad that Fresnel is injured and Roni Teunis had a bad day."
