S63

Written by TEAM BOBYN at 13:00 28/1-2023

So ends another very good solid season for TB !

S63 turned out to be a a good one for TB, our third best ever with some new faces picking up their first win. TB spent a little time in D4 but Manager Barry will be pleased that TB were comfortable and competitive in D5 and while the team is in a period of transition there is still plenty of scope to motor on. Financially wise - TB has never looked this healthy.

Zhuravlyov came of age picked up his first win alongside TB Uzbek veteran Yenotov. Rusanov continues to perform andis chomping on the bit for more races while Yunge, Koslovsky, Lyutov, and new boy Korablin are all looking good. However special mention to fans favourite this season for Kapriyanov who broke the TB record for most TB career wins (6) - plenty of scope to push forward his record for next season.

   In summary:

   Pts: 482 (- 80pts)
   Division: 5 (E) (+/- Divisions)
   Rank: Ukraine 1st ( +2 place)
   worldwide 308th ( -47 places)
   Team Value 2.357m (+ 211k)

   Personnel & Tactical Changes

Davydov remains Squad Captain although in effect he is cover for supreme Cobalist, Rusanov. Voronkov will be retired and the focus on Climbing will be withdrawn as Chendev and Blazhenov will move on. Dmitiriyev and Zhuravlyov will be retained to support the Downhillers. The Vice Captaincy will be shared during periods of TF between Yenotov, Arshavin and Kozlovsky - with the latter starting to pull togethor a very good-looking sprint contingent around him. Kapriyanov continues to run the TT team within a team.

   International:
Ukraine will be dissappointted in their performance - particular;y in missing out on one of the races. The next generation of riders cannot come soon enough.

A number of TB riders were heavily featured, including a debut for Kozlovsky and a superb podium finish for Rusanov..and also including
   - Davydov (1 cap - 12th PB), Voronkov (2 caps), Kozlovsky (2 caps - Debut), Volkov (2 caps), Dmitriyev (2 Caps)Rusanov (1 cap 3rd- PB), Polishchuk(1caps),Dolzhikov (1 cap), Zhuravlyov (2 caps - debut), Yunge (3 caps - debut), Kapriyanov (1 cap),Zhivenkov (1 cap) and Chupov (2 cap)

Objectives for S64 (hmm on paper looks like we've failed on a lot of objectives but actually feel like we are progressing).

(ii) Bring in some new Ukraine teams (S63 - fail - down to 2 teams)
   (ii) Finish in D4 - get some exposure to D4 (S63 - partially met - some expsoure D4 )
