Season 67 review

Written by ProgressTeam at 01:54 27/1-2024

ProgressTeam had a good season, but appetites were a bit bigger after a great debut (s66) season.

Canada Phineas Lemaire positively surprised, being the brightest spot of the team (with a sensational 2nd place in the 5th division). We are also satisfied with the performances of our team leader Poland Gerald Imiołek, who won the mythical Alto de L’Angliru without a TF (which he was preparing for the start of the 67th season), where he was in 2nd place in season 66.

Unfortunately, the main event of the season for our team - Nigeria Bali Classic - had a bittersweet taste. The leader for this race, Lemaire, finished only 8th, and SD Imiolek without a TF finished 4th. Two places in the top 10 are pleasing, but there was still no place on the podium.

Overall, ProgressTeam can be satisfied with their season, but they will be looking to improve on their results in the 68th season.

  Key statistics:
    - 12 results - 3 wins, 5 seconds, 2 thirds and 2 others
    - 515 points - 303rd Overall, 11th National.

  Best riders:
  - Canada Phineas Lemaire - 2 wins, 3 seconds, 8th on Bali Classic
  - Poland Gerald Imiołek -1 win, 1 second, 4th on Bali Classic
  - Poland Oswald Piątek - 1 second, 1 third

  Winning races:
  - Spain Gijon - Alto de L´Angliru
  - Spain Puertomingalvo - Alcalá de la Selva (2nd time)
  - Argentina Cristo Redentor de los Andes carrera

  Departure and arrival hall:
  Welcomes:
  - Spain Gabriel Lanos
  Goodbyes:
  - Portugal Alexandre Dias

  Goals for season 68:
  - Greece Men Become Gods Tour
  - Div.5 or Div.6 mountain classics
  - First tries in u23 races
