The old mans last two tours as captain will be this seasons Germany Tour and Nederlandse Tour. After that Frederick Longosiwa will turn 36 and find more relaxing things to do.

It'll be sad to see a legend go. He's had an amazing career and been a fixture at the top of the game for so long. That degree of success at such a young age won't be seen again I don't think. I hope he has some success in his last races!

Maybe even more impressive, is that Bongo, who isn't in any Specialist top 10, is the One Rider with most results, despiite multiple drop downs. Most of the results are also from the XP era, without an extraordinary XP (even my own Vanox Kakudji has higher), competing against monsters like Van Zijp, Mjelde and Astankov. Yet Bongo is above all of those in ranking, results AND points.
