After 5 seasons a truly big celebration was held again in Zvolen, Slovakia, as team Lokomotíva reached another milestone in their history winning the first ever sprinter's jersey.
The road itself to USA to even attend this tour was difficult, and manager Pierre Mrazique did what he could to remain in 4th division. Luckily, there is now also a semblance of a climbing squad in Lokomotíva again, and that helped.
But as for the Race of the Minutemen itself, the team knew they had just two shots, and both of them have to be precise. For that purpose top form was not triggered just for the incredible  Dário Havlík - the winner himself - but also for a lead out sprinter Galbavy.
And what does the happy green jersey owner say about his victory?
"We all were very nervous because this really had to be perfect. But luckily I had no off-days, and that was the most important. Then it was just the fantastic work of my lead outs that put me in the front, and all I had to do was to finish it."
