Aurel Neagoe has today become the first Lindfield Locknuts trainee to complete his whole career with the team. He joined as a 23-year-old in Season 55 and was quickly trained up. Interestingly he is a rider manager SitsWithRemote would not hire - and certainly wouldn’t train - with what he has now learned about the game.
Yet he was a hugely valued domestique through a career of 268 races (plus one for the Romanian national team) and scored a single victory in Season 60’s Grandprix Dermatio. Now aged 36, he has finally retired and replaces outgoing Climbing Coach Tserenputsag Ariuntungalag.
