  Holwerda Cycling has had a great season. Not with points or with ranking, but with winning a grand tour in Top Division. Jim Van Hummel managed to win Vuelta de los Castillos as youngster. In the preview he was ranked very low in the strong field that was present. He was not even favourite for the YC, but surprisingly he won the king stage and hold on to the jersey in the time trial. The king stage, YC and GC got him three wins.
  The other two wins of the season were by Jurgen Meulenbergh who won a stage in Patryk Drozdowski Trophy Cup and nearly won the cup, but ended second.
