Goege Team reached a new level getting into the top 20 of OCM. Pointwise it was the best season ever with 2836 points.
With a jersey (YC Cymru Taith; Cardoso) and a trophy (Ainet-Bruggen; Goagoseb) we could increase our palmares. But even more prestigious was Tjikuzus win at the Elias Marquez Invitational which lead to the Semi Classic Descender achievement.
On top of this we found 4 trainees. Shivute already maxed pretty early and will be of no use and therefore released soon, Isaacs will be bought soon and trained as a downhiller, Botha is in training as a tour cobbler and Pieterse is in training as a hill sprinter.
In the PU we managed to get on the podium as second and once again we were the downhill team with the most points.
Namibia is on track too after a horrific last season.
From every perspective it was a successful season, probably the best we‘ve ever had.
What can we expect of season 63 and what are the goals?
We should be realistic and a season like this one can‘t be expected. But we want to do as good again, using many of our riders TF in tours. We don‘t expect a great win this season, but being in the top 9 in top division in as many races as possible is an achievement itself. The only goal is to be able to race Germany Tour.
