New Strategy

Written by Goege Team at 16:25 28/4-2020

Ole Uttenberger is going home to Switzerland after scoring 1644 points and getting prize money of $ 378k for Goege Team. Thanks Ole.

The 500k transfer sum is going to be invested in staff, equipment and the transfer of Bimbo Wiggill.

And it leads to a change of strategy too.
Goege wants to consequently race with 3 different teams of equal strength. One DH, one HL and one allround team (could also be a U23 team). That means there will be 2-3 trained and 3-4 untrained riders per team, as a consequence Goege Team cannot expect to be successful in the short run. However, Goege is convinced that this strategy fits the team best in the long run.
  Tours/cups/classics will be exceptions.

The CPs are given, for the HL team Smit and Kaimbi, for the DH team Ketjijere and Franz (until he is ready to retire) and for the allround team Tjikuzu and Wiggill.
What to do with the TMs will be the next task. Training some of the weaker riders just to get trained TMs or leaving them untrained, Goege has to decide that soon.
