After releasing Atwater Ingersoll DP99/RS85 for $37518 and two old workers (Oskar Strøm and Vebjørn Stenersen) I finally had procured enough money to get my $125k wheelset.
Hopefully this will be noticeable in the results eventually. What has to be noted is that hiring and releasing several riders really do mess up team spirit, so it might take a while to get back to normal.
First race with new wheelset (and crappy TS) is dne: Jan Øverland placed 6th in Climbs of Peta. That's okay.
Bad news is that Tore Myren got injured and is benched until the 21st. Luckily he is set at race break, so he'll be primed when he gets back.
Edit:
Stian Ingvaldsen has increased a point in climbing. He has now got 58 in climbing.

Also, the # of doctors and mechanics has an effect on TS. It allows you to have higher TS. All that equipment and other stuff, I feel that the benefit is negligible.. I have TT bars and that gives 10% in TT and I don't see any benefit at all. I prefer to use the money on buying and training better riders.
Yeah, it is difficult to be certain that the equipment makes a difference, but as wheels, group set and frame offer static increase I think it'll be worth it in the long run. similar percentage increase on riders that ultimately get old is expensive as well.
Gloves, etc. offer comfort, which in turn increase TS, so it is likely you would have had even worse TS without them....
I have a couple cheaper wheel sets along with frames and all the equipment like TT bars, gloves, etc, and it doesn't seem to do much. But definitely, releasing riders does effect team spirit big time. I just released 2 riders and I'll need to go on a lot of breakaways now...
