Season 61

  Season 61 is over and BGK Cycling Team can look back on a solid season. If we look at our points you would think we had a bad season with only 736 points. The worst in 7 seasons.
  
  But the plan of the season was to focus on the palmares instead of on the points. The first win of the season was a win in the prologue of Haute-Normandie by Richard Bauer. This should have given us the Prologue specialist-award. But apparently the first stage of Race of the Minutemen doesn't count for the award. The same with the first stage of the Kangaroo Tour, that Richard Bauer won later in the season. But this win provided us with the YC jersey and a top 9 in the Kangaroo Tour.
  
  This was the start of a crazy few weeks where Roland Bernhardt won VCK Classic in the break away and Ċ½eljko Marolt won the U23 World Championships. Giving us the Double U23 World Champion-award.
  
  So overall we didn't earn a lot of points but we got 2 jersey's, a toffee and an achievement. So Tacticman is happy!
