We meet manager Tacticman at the World Championship in Sweden. He is in a very good mood and pays us a beer right away.
Reporter: Tacticman, you are in the game already for 16 seasons now, how do you explain the season kicked of slow for the team?
Tacticman: Well, Ignace Bourgois kicked off the season quite promising from day 1. He became 4th in Lima - Ticlio Pass. But then indeed we didn't came up to speed. We only had 1 win in the first 45 days. Peter Ridge won in Race to the Wall. This was 1 quality win in a 3.1-race but 1 win is not enough.
Reporter: How did you manage to turn things around for the second part of the seasson?
Tacticman: "Takes a sip of his beer" If you have troubles you look back what are the building blocks of your team. Pasquale Lalsimbra and Ian Barone are the 2 most successful riders in the teams history of the team. They went on altitude camp.
Reporter: In the Tian-Shen Stone City Cup you gained momentum, Mik Perši? won the cup and added a trophy for the trophy case. You didn't mention Mik on the altitude camp...
Tacticman: Yeah, Mik went already on altitude in the beginning of the season. Mik always needs a bit more time to catch that top form, but when he does he can be brilliant. A lot of people don't believe in Mik. TwoWheelsNoCash even put him on the free hire list, where we could pick him up. But that guy can ride!
Reporter: Then Ian Barone became 2nd in Fast on Wheels and Alpi Laakkonen won the king stage. Some people told me that you didn't even want to sign up.
Tacticman: That is true! We had a busy race schedule and Ian just came from altitude camp. But Ian came to me and said I want to ride this race I think it will help me a lot to get race shape. Look he managed to get 2nd, not even in top form. We rode that race without stress and you could see that. If you see where Alpi launches his attack in the king stage. Normally I would yell to him that it is to early. But I didn't. We were so relaxed and confident.
Reporter: Alpi Laakkonen has left the team, you have a comment on that?
Tacticman: Our team is like a big international family and Alpi asked me if he could join a team closer to his family and as a family we know how important family is. So we helped him to find an other team, Moose Machines in Finland.
Reporter: At the end of the season it looked like Pasquale Lalsimbra was flying with a win in the Bali Classic and 2 other races.
Tacticman: He definitely was flying. He was the big favorite in all 3 of those races. But he is such a strong guy. He just wins and we really liked the trophy from the Bali Classic.
Reporter: Now the last question, you got 3 young guns in your team now. They even rode the World Championship ITT (U23) today.
Tacticman: Actually it is the plan to participate in both ITT and the road race next season. But then we had the opportunity to do the ITT already this year and we thought, why not. They are not yet trained fully but we got a 10th anyway. Normally we have only one guy that we train at the same time. But with the current economic situation we think we can start in some U23 races with a few talented guys.
Reporter: Thank you for the interview and good luck next season.
Tactticman: It was a pleasure.
