After season 49, the worst season in history of BGK cycling team, the team started furiously in Malang - Gunung Bromo. It secured the top 4 positions in this race won by Peter Ridge. Later on in the first big goal of the season, the classic Gevelsberg GP, Ian barone became second after a good team performance. In Manresa - Vic, Ian Barone washed away his disappointment and won the race.
The team continued to impress in Japan as Pasquale Lalsimbra won Climbing Mounta Daimaru and later won 2 stages and the GC Tour of the Sanreizan. BGK cycling team dominated this tour with several other podiums during the stages, 4 riders in the top 9 of the GC and podium spots in the SC and the YC. As this was the second goal of the season, team manager Tacticman was very pleased. Pasquale Lalsimbra was in top form and continued to win in Camporosso - Sanremo.
During the season Ignace Bourgois joined the team and immediately won Canejan - Les, a division 4 race. Zulfiqar Sial showed that the efforts in the windtunnel were a big step forward by securing a podium spot in Race of the Minutemen Stage 5 (ITT) and he finished strong by getting a 5th position in the GC. This result gave us the Tour Contender Bronze-badge.
By this time we were in division 3 and it became harder to get good results. But in the end, the team had its most successful season with 25 results and 8 wins. In total we had 831 point and we ended the season on position 153 of the OCM ranking.
