Monte Rosa Tour #34

  We went into the Monte Rosa Tour with Pasquale Lalsimbra as the leader of BGK Cycling Team. The goal was to get a few good results in the stages, a top 9 in the GC and hopefully the YC jersey.

  But after a descent prologue and a 2nd place in stage 2 Lalsimbra took the lead in the GC. Two 2nd places later, he took the GC and YC jersey home.

  After 2 YC jerseys from Ian Barone in previous seasons, this was an unexpected surprise. We were hoping to win a GC jersey may be 2 or 3 seasons from now.

I'm not sure I will defend my title. For the YC I don't have riders who have in the correct age and skills to win. For the GC, it is not a big goal.
