Conquering Russia

Written by AusGo at 07:53 12/1-2018

A nice outing for AusGo at the Perm Tour. Graham Creagh lead the sprint classification from start to finish, winning convincingly to obtain his second jersey of his career, and the fifth jersey for the team.
Whilst on the podium, Creagh said 5 words, "I do not speak Russian" and left to the local pub to grab some vodka. We tried to get a team interview with Creagh about the win, but we saw him a couple of hours later passed out on the hotel floor, so we decided against the interview.
The next outing as captain for the young Australian is the two hilly classics of Div 2, Lappi Sea GP and Grasse - Toulon.
